Using repeat contact

View, filter, report, and export

On an interaction

On any individual interaction, open the Repeat contacts tab to see whether that interaction was identified as a repeat contact under any of your active configurations. The tab shows the customer's position in the journey for each configuration that matched position 1 for a first contact within the window, and higher positions for subsequent contacts.

In Search and Archive

Repeat contact is available as a first-class filter in Search and Archive. A Repeat Contacts section appears in the filter panel with each of your active configurations listed underneath. Select a configuration and one or more contact positions to narrow results to interactions at that point in the journey.

In graphing

Use repeat contact position as a data dimension in graphing to visualize the distribution of first, second, and subsequent contacts across your interaction set. Click on a bar, slice, or table cell to filter the interactions list below to only the selected group. Saved reports that sort by a repeat contact column preserve that sort setting when reloaded.

In exports

Repeat contact fields are selectable in the Interaction Data Record (IDR) export. Each selected configuration adds a column to the export, the column header is the configuration name, and each cell contains the interaction's position in that configuration's repeat contact journey.
